The retro sixties blowout was spotted all over the runways this year. Part pin-up and part preppy, it's a great style to try out if you're looking to change things up. Get inspired with these 4 looks.

A style that keeps coming back is the voluminous 60s baby doll blowout. We're seeing it again in 2016, but this time things are different – the overall look is much more subdued with half-up half down ponytails and bangs taking center stage more than the height itself. We've selected four of our favorite hairstyles from the runway. If you see anything that catches your eye then talk to your hairstylist about a new texturizing spray called Wild Stylers 60's Babe Savage Panache – it will give hair great volume and help recreate these looks.

The preppy baby doll blowout for Teresita Orillac

A personal Hair Trend News favorite style is this wavy sixties babe blowout. Hair is lightly teased and then pulled back into a half-up half-down style, striking a perfect balance between retro and modern chic.

The fantasy baby doll blowout for Jeremy Scott

What we like most about this look is that it's so fun and reminds us of the musical Hairspray! The models for Jeremy Scott's show wore wigs which was very en vogue in the 60s. We admit that this style isn't for everyone and that the volume is exaggerated, but if you've always dreamed about having huge hair then try it out.

The rock 'n' roll baby doll blowout for Au Jour le Jour

The hairstylist for Au Jour le Jour's runway show gave the models a preppy rocker vibe. The crown of the head was barely teased to create height for a half-up half-down pony and the bangs were left long. Slight volume was added to the rest of the hair to stay true to the sixties style. This is a relaxed look that can be worn often.

The glamorous baby doll blowout for Daks

This runway look is very elegant, neat and polished. None of the models had bangs and not a single strand of hair was out of place. Hair was curled to help reflect the light and then brushed back into a pompadour-style half-up half-down pony. This is a great hairstyle that would be perfect to wear to a party!
