Her character in Penny Dreadful is a long-haired vixen, but in real life Eva Green is a beautiful brunette who isn't afraid to try out new looks. At last night's 73rd Golden Globes ceremony, Eva looked stunning with a dark-haired lob. We reveal how the look was achieved.
The lob is the perfect balance between long and short, and a great option for anyone who wants to test the short-hair waters. It's not too hard to maintain, and grows out nicely if you ever decide that long hair is your preference after all.
Lobs have recently been very popular among Instagrammers and celebrities alike. Eva Green's personal hairstylist Adir Abergel helped set her lob apart by giving it an ultra-modern touch – it was left extra-long and lots of volume and texture was added to it. He used products from the L'Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art line to give her hair the boost it needed and then styled it into a deep part for a 90s vibe.
Eva's lob was prepped with L'Oréal Professionnel Dual Stylers Liss & Pump-Up for volume, and L'Oréal Professionnel Wild Stylers Beach Waves for texture. Her hairstylist then blow-dried her hair upside down and used a curling iron to create barrel curls. He pinned up all of the curls, let them cool, and then brushed them out to create soft waves. For even further texture L'Oréal Professionnel Wild Stylers Next Day Hair was applied and then the look was completed with a mist of hairspray.
If you've been hesitating to cut your hair short for a while, perhaps it's finally time to schedule an appointment with your hairstylist and try out Eva's look!
