Why stick with one braid when you could have two? There are plenty of ways to wear two braids for an on-trend hairstyle with none of the schoolgirl factor that they can often evoke...
French high society
These two French braids have been cleverly created at the top of the head: an unusual and fashion-forward look that we love! When you get to the nape of the neck, stop braiding and tie the remaining hair into a ponytail. The texture and unique nature of this style makes it unforgettable!
You could create this look using either a French braid style or, like here, a Dutch technique. The important element is to keep the hair tightly braided with no flyaways, so we recommend using a styling spray or mousse before you start. When the braids reach just above the nape of the neck, secure with small elastics and leave the rest loose in two messy urban ponytails.
Native American inspiration
Be inspired by traditional Native American style with this double-braid look. Be careful to keep each braid the same width, and keep it tight. The finished look has a beautiful texture to it, and can be further enhanced by wearing a headband to keep the top part of the hair in place.
Have fun with braids
This out-there hairstyle brings a smile to our faces, but should only be attempted if you're ready to handle the attention! Pull your hair up to the very top of your head and tie in two tight ponytails. Secure with elastic, then braid the sections of hair. The more natural body your hair has, the thicker you can create the braids, and the more striking your finished look will be!
