Just because you have fine hair that doesn't mean that you can't make it look voluminous. Keep scrolling to find out how!
Cut your hair short
Very often women with thin hair will try to grow it long because they believe that it adds something to their look. However what usually ends up happening is that their locks fall even flatter – not necessarily the most flattering style when your hair is fine! A bob or a pixie cut is a better choice and will make it easier for you to be able to boost the volume. However, if you still want to have a bit of length, a lob could work, so long as you use a high-quality texturizing product when you style your hair.
Choose the right styling products
Big hair is in this season, and lots of volumizing sprays, mousses and powders exist on the market that help people (with all hair types) add a bit of ''oomph'' to their manes. While these products will work on your thin hair, it's best to use ones that are specially formulated for fine hair, like Volume Riche Mousse from Tecni.ART by L'Oréal Professionnel or Full Volume Extra, also from the Tecni.ART range.
Adopt a good hair care routine
No matter if your hair is thick, fine, curly, or straight, keeping it healthy is the key to having a gorgeous, voluminous mane. Hair should only be washed twice a week (make sure to use conditioner after as well!) and a nourishing mask should be applied once a week. Extra treatments – especially in-salon - are also a great treat for fine hair. Ask your hairdresser about Recreate from L'Oréal Professionnel's Pro Fiber range for example, or Serioxyl, also from L'Oréal Professionnel to help your locks get stronger and thicker and even grow longer!
