Braids were seen all over the Fall/Winter 2016 runways, and they will always be in style. However, when it comes down to choosing between a mini braid or a maxi braid, which one do you tend to wear more?
The tiny braid
The hairstyle: A tiny braid is very thin. You can create multiple tiny braids and wear them down for an afro-inspired hairstyle, or you can just make one, and add it into a ponytail or a bun for a Neo-Viking vibe.
The style: Small braids add texture to your hair and are a wonderful complement to any Boho chic outfit.
What the editors say: Tiny braids can be done on any hair length, making them a great option for nearly anyone. However, they can take some time to create, so set aside a few extra minutes in the morning to get ready!
The large braid
The hairstyle: The large braid is one big braid that you need to use all of your hair to create. However, the shorter strands, like your bangs, can be left down.
The style: This braid can be worn high up on your head, low, parted to the side... whatever floats your boat! It looks particularly great worn high with a choker necklace for a throwback 90s vibe.
What the editors say: In order to pull off this style you need to have long hair. Large braids are meant to look thick and graphic!
