Each time the VMAs roll around we get excited to see what bold choices celebrities made in the style department. We picked out some of the best looks from this year's event to show you what will be trending this season!
Kim Kardashian's wet look
If there's one thing we've learned about the Kardashians over the years, it's that whatever hairstyle they decide to sport in public ends up becoming popular – fast! The wet look is already predicted to be a trendy style this season, but seeing it on Kim K. just confirms how big it will be in the upcoming months. If the all over wet look isn't for you, just apply a bit of L'Oréal Professionnel Wet Domination Extreme Splash by Tecni.Art gel on your roots.
Hailey Baldwin's wavy lob
Hailey's lob is very long – almost mid-length – making it a great haircut for anyone who wants to go short, but isn't ready to completely say goodbye to their long locks. She effortlessly pulled off the glunge look (glamorous glunge) by increasing the shine on her wavy locks with serum and leaving her dark roots exposed.
Beyoncé's warrior braid
Queen B. did it again (well her hairstylist!). Her braided hair was a gorgeous take on the French braid, starting at her ears and carrying up towards the back of her head. Braids of all kinds will be very popular this fall and winter, so this style is definitely one to keep in your hairstyle arsenal!
Zara Larsson's slicked back silver hair
The silver hair trend is still going strong, and Zara Larsson looks stunning in the metallic shade. If we had to critique one thing about this look, it's the total slicked back aspect of her hair. As we told you earlier, wet looks are definitely trending this fall and winter, however we recommend parting your hair down the middle or to the side to make this style appear a bit more modern.
Holland Roden's glitter roots
Glitter roots were all the rage back in November and December 2015 and over 9,000 #glitterroots hashtags exist on Instagram to date. We absolutely love Holland's subtle take on the trend. The glitter adds a "je ne sais quoi" and brings all the attention to her beautiful mane. Get the look at home by smoothing a small amount of gel on your roots and then using a clean makeup brush to carefully apply the glitter.
