Wedding Updos You'll Love This Spring

Spring is officially here, and wedding season is in full swing. Here are two bridal updo hairstyles which you will definitely say 'I do' to!

The Double Braided Half Crown

This symmetrical style is structured and refined, and would look amazing paired with a Grecian goddess inspired flowing gown. Here we see the graphic double braids accompanied by a low rolled bun, but you could just as easily let the bottom half of your hair fly free in loose waves for a more casual bohemian aesthetic.

The Interlocking Updo

This more undone updo combines loosely interlocked and woven hair sections with a light fishtail plait secured around the back of the head. The loose waves frame the face beautifully, and would pair well with a more structured bridal gown. The hair at the crown has been teased to create more height and add a 1960's inspired element to this look.

The Tousled Updo

This is a much less structured updo than the first two, with big bold waves pinned up in soft rolls to create this romantic swept up style! Perfect for multi-tonal hair colours, we love how the flowing texture shows off the different shades in this blonde balayage. Some small flowers or hair accessories nestled in the updo would top off this sweet style perfectly.

What our stylists say:

Whether you visit a professional to create these updos, or attempt them yourself at home, we'd recommend using L'Oréal Professionnel's Infinium Pure Hairspray to set your style and ensure your hair stays secure on your big day!
