Bae Doona: bob vs. shoulder-length hair

  • v/s
Bae Doona bob vs shoulder-length hair
South Korean actress and Sense8 TV star Bae Doona prefers to keep her mane on the short side. However she still manages to change up her look and hairstyles often, by getting a new cut or subtly changing her hair's part. Which look do you think suits her best: a bob or shoulder-length hair?

Bob-length hair

The cut: Bae's bob is a blunt cut that stops just above her chin, framing her face. Her bangs add definition, but blend in seamlessly with the rest of her hair.

The style: This bob is a chic style that doesn't need accessories to look great. However, adding in a jeweled barrette or a decorative headband can elevate the hairstyle even further!

What the editors say: The actress's bob elongates her face and is a very sophisticated haircut. However, if you ever decide to get this haircut, it's important to book regular appointments with your hairdresser (every couple months) to keep the ends looking well-defined.

Shoulder-length hair

The cut: Bae's haircut is a bit irregular which adds natural texture to her locks. Her bangs are on the longer side, extending just below her eyebrows, to create harmony with the longer length of the rest of her hair.

The style: The star's shoulder-length hair has a casual French girl hair feel to it. However, it can look instantly elegant by tying it up into a pretty updo or half-up half-down style.

What the editors say: This look is great for someone with naturally pin-straight hair, like Bae. It's a wonderful way to add more body to your mane, without having to curl your hair. If you want to add even more texture and definition, use texturizing spray like Next Day Hair by Tecni.Art from L'Oréal Professionnel.
