5 Trendy Hairstyles Spotted At Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week in March was a mecca for style seekers around the world. Here are 5 trendy hairstyles we spotted on the streets!

Textured bowl cut

Today's textured bowl cut is a far cry from its predecessor in the 80's and 90's. No longer just restricted to the realms of Jim Carrey in 'Dumb and Dumber,' the version we spotted at Paris Fashion Week was feminine, yet fearlessly modern at the same time. This look strikes the perfect balance between being edgy and ladylike, and the soft texture at the brow line softens what can otherwise be a graphic and dramatic style.

Pastel sunset hair

It's clear that 2017 is the year for colouring your hair, and the looks at Paris Fashion Week were no exception to this trend. We loved this pastel sunset look - a nod to blorange with pink highlights underneath for a bit more fun! We think it works wonderfully with the sleek bob, as extra-long hair would have definitely overwhelmed the outfit.

Blunt-banged bob

Speaking of bobs... this blunt banged beauty stole the show with her graphic and dramatic style. What is already a striking look has been taken even further by wearing a fringe that is slightly longer in the middle, instead of being cut straight across or being longer at the edges like 70's curtain bangs. This is not a style that would suit everyone – best saved for those with longer face shapes who will not be swamped with such a tightly face framing style. Loved the pop of red lipstick to elevate this look!

Boyish platinum hair

A couple of female celebrities have recently showcased bleached blonde buzzcuts on the red carpet, and now this look has found its way onto the streets as well! There's nowhere to hide when you are rocking a striking style like this, and we love how this woman has made it effortlessly chic and feminine by pairing it with simple accessories, natural makeup and a muted clothing colour palette.

Ice blonde low bun

The bleached trend continues with this ice blonde low bun spotted at Paris Fashion Week. Many tight buns can make an outfit look very formal and overdone, and this is a wonderful softer option. A cool and slightly messy style, we love the way it has been paired here with a chunky hoop earring and houndstooth jacket. Simple yes, but with just enough bling to give that extra wow factor worthy of catching our eye.
